Description: These 24 task cards cover identifying and properly punctuating and formatting titles. As with all Boom Cards in our store, the cards become progressively more challenging moving from identifying to writing titles with correct punctuation. Card 1: Students sort the published works at the bottom into the correct column in the table. Cards 2-5: Students select the form of the title that shows correct italics or quotation marks. They include scaffolding notes at the bottom of the slides. Cards 6-9: Students select the form of the title that shows correct italics or quotation marks. These do not include scaffolding notes. Cards 10-17: Students select correct or incorrect to indicate whether the title is punctuated correctly or not. Cards 18-24: Students read the sentence and decide if the title should be underlined or if quotation marks should be added when handwritten. They then drag the correct punctuation marks to the correct spot in the sentence.
