About me: <p>Cristy, is experienced educator with 21 years of teaching. Most of those years consisted of teaching 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts, with a focus on grammar, writing, and reading. She holds a BA in Elementary Education, which certifies her to teach grades 1-6, and holds a minor in Psychology. Her dedication to student learning and teacher support led to consistent recognition, receiving a Highly Effective rating each year for her innovative teaching methods and student-centered approach. She is also certified in Gifted Education as well as ESL and has serviced those students within her classroom throughout her career. As a former grade level chair, she played a key role in shaping curriculum strategies. Now, Cristy brings her wealth of knowledge and passion for education to the digital realm, creating resources that simplify planning and foster student engagement, making a lasting impact beyond the traditional classroom setting.</p>
