Description: Use this fill-in-the-blank, monster themed deck to provide your students with a fun and engaging way to practice counting pennies, nickels, and dimes in amounts up to 40 cents. On each card, students are tasked with counting a set of pennies, nickels, and/or dimes. Students have the option of moving the coins around to help with counting. Once students have determined the total amount of the coins, they type the amount in the empty box. The deck contains 25 cards, and the deck is set to play all 25 cards, in random order, each time the game is played. Each card in the deck includes both written and optional audio directions. The deck supports the following standard: CCSS.MATH.2.MD.C.8 Solve word problems involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies, using $ and ¢ symbols appropriately.
