Description: This deck provides two games to practice and review adding and subtracting sums and differences from 10 - 20. Ten frames are used. The students will access the games using a button on the menu. There are directions recorded on the first two slides of each game and the menu on Slide 1. Using the Deck: - The students will choose "Addition" or "Subtraction" from the menu. - They will listen to the instructions while working through the first problem in each section. - They will click on one of the three answer choices on each slide. - Addition: The students will view two groups of pictures that are combined to make a larger group. The students will look at the number in each group to identify the addends. Then, they will use the tens frame to count up from 10 to find the sum for the two groups combined. - Subtraction: There is a group displayed using the ten frame. The group contains ten or more objects. There are pictures at the end crossed out. Those are the pictures that have been "taken away," and the students need to subtract them from the group. - Each slide contains pictures. The theme is Thanksgiving.
