Description: Small pink jellyfish swimming in the sea, Big green snake coming down the tree... Children can listen as they read along with this ebook featuring audio. The poem is adapted for English learners and illustrated with real photos that will capture children's imaginations. Great for teaching and reviewing colors and wild animal vocabulary. Your students will develop fluency, vocabulary and phonological awareness as they listen and read. You can make the poem available in learning centers, project it on the whiteboard for whole-class instruction or assign it for children to practice reading at home. I wrote this poem for my students, who are learning English as a foreign language in elementary school. They love animals (especially scary ones!) and they enjoy reading and looking at picture books about them. Last year, we were talking about scary animals before Halloween and I wanted to send them an ebook about those animals so they could practice reading at home. I found ebooks to buy for myself, but none that I could send to families. So I wrote one!
