Description
In this deck, students will be first asked to spell a word, and then change one sound at a time to create new words - some may be real, and some may be nonsense (silly) words. Chaining, as well as nonsense words, help beginning readers practice the encoding and decoding skills which need to become fluent. This aligns with the letters taught in CKLA, beginning in skills 3.
