Description: Your students will see actual photos of animals that live in the Arctic while reading to improve their reading comprehension. Then, they will answer a Wh- question about the animal. They will learn facts and details about 18 animals by reading informational text. Your students will see a photo and find out about each animal's habits, diet, and environment. Audio support and alt text are provided. There is also a vocabulary review. The Deck: - The first two slides provide information about the location of the Arctic and its living conditions. - The remaining 18 slides feature an Arctic animal. Informational text is provided. - Your students can click the speaker buttons to listen to the text as they read. - They will read or listen to the question and the answer choices. - The students respond by clicking on an answer. Vocabulary Review - Your students will see a picture or pictures of animals. - They will listen to one to two sentences about a word related to the animal(s) in the picture. - They will click on the vocabulary word.
