This interactive speech and language activity features firefighters playing hide-and-seek around the town. Students help look in different community locations to find each firefighter while practicing early communication skills with strong visual and auditory supports. The student will: Look in various community locations to find the firefighter Receptively identify each firefighter (errorless) Hear and see repeated language models such as “I found you!” Respond to an errorless “Who did we find?” question after each firefighter is found Follow embedded directions with visual supports Community locations included: Police station Fire station Post office School Pet store Hospital This activity is designed for early language learners, including analytic and gestalt language processors.
