Description: This deck was created for primary students to improve their skills in adding and deleting phonemes to form new words. Understanding how to manipulate phonemes helps to improve decoding and reading skills. Audio support is provided. The Deck: There are four sets. - The red set involves adding a sound to the beginning of the word. - The green set involves adding a sound to the end. - The yellow set involves removing a sound from the beginning of a word. - The blue set involves removing a sound from the end of a word. Using the Deck: - Your students will view a picture and listen to the word for the picture stated. - They will listen to hear the sound that will be added or deleted. - Your students will think about the new word. - They will drag a picture to one of the three answer choices. - They will click on the "Submit" button on the slide.
