Description: Parts of the Water Cycle Level 1 includes 22 interactive, self-checking Boom Cards for introducing the basic water cycle concepts of precipitation, condensation, and evaporation. The first three cards are review cards that define those terms and show an example of that process in action. The remaining cards show examples of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation in everyday life. The three review cards will always be presented first, followed by the example cards that will be shown in random order each time the deck is played. Notes for the teacher: Evaporation and condensation are sometimes confused because water often evaporates first and then condenses when the water vapor comes into contact with something cool. One way to remember the difference is that evaporation is invisible while condensation results in the formation something visible. We can't see the process of water becoming water vapor, but we CAN observe the process of water condensing into droplets of water.
