Description: This deck is for students who struggle with using flexible thinking and limit themselves by believing that things should always be done the same way. Students on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities find adaptive reasoning challenging and their natural inclination toward 'sameness' does not let them use different responses. As a result they rob themselves of learning opportunities that they can encounter. This deck with its numerous common scenarios provide useful exposure to situations they might find themselves in and is a grassroots level attempt for them to understand the rationale behind the importance of flexible thinking.
