Description: Practice word study with your student before diving into the book We Don't Eat Our Classmates by Ryan Higgins. These set of worksheets are low prep. They can be printed out or written on virtually using Microsoft Edge. It includes a study of 6 different vocabulary words. Student get practice writing the words, identifying consonants/vowels in the words, identifying the number of syllables, and identifying the part of speech. Students are provided the definition and can come up with synonyms and antonyms. They also have a section to draw out the meaning of the word. You can use this resource to target phonological awareness, vocabulary, and synonyms/antonyms.
