Description: Would you like an interesting and engaging activity for Hispanic Heritage Month that will teach your students about the lives and accomplishments of some famous Hispanic Americans that will also provide you with a banner or bulletin board display for you classroom or hallway? If so, this banner/bulletin board is a great way to do that. There are 31 different pennants for students to complete. Each piece has a different picture of a famous Hispanic American. Students are required to list the individual's birth, death, heritage, and some of their accomplishments on the pennant. Then they color the name and picture of the person and cut it out for display. Assign the pennants to students or let them choose which one(s) they would like to complete. Use the finished banner as a display in your class or hallway or to create a bulletin board. It's a great activity for students to learn how Hispanic Americans have influenced the history of America.
