Description: Are you looking for a fractions craft? This print-and-go craft is perfect for spring. The students cut out the shapes from the worksheet and then cut the shapes into fractions. The fractions of the shapes can then be laid out on the template or blank paper to make a flower and the bee can be placed anywhere to complete the craft. This resource explores fractions whole 1/1, half 1/2, thirds 1/3 and quarters 1/4. Resources required * Printout of the worksheet of your choice * Printout of a template (optional) * Scissors * Glue The worksheets have the options of black & white or colour. They also have the option of the fraction printed on the worksheet or left blank so that the student can label the fractions. 2D shapes This craft could also be used as a 2D shapes craft. Print out the worksheets without the fractions printed on the shapes. Then discuss the shapes that are used to make the flower. If you are home-schooling there is also a flower that can be used as a colouring in page for younger children to discover the shapes in the flower. If this resource will only be used with one child then the extra shapes on the worksheet page could be used to make another picture eg house. It can be left to the child's own creativity.
