Description: Themed articulation activities are always a hit with kids. Use this printable resource to target a variety of Spanish phonemes at the word level in all word positions. This no-prep resource is excellent for elementary and middle school students who can read in Spanish. There are 15 pages to choose from. Print them out and have your students color the pages as they practice their Spanish articulation sounds in speech therapy. Better yet, use heart shaped candy as your markers! These are also excellent to give to parents for carryover. The phonemes /r/, /s/, /d/, /l/ and /n/ are the only ones that occur in the final position of Spanish words The /b/ words contain the V and B letters, as both letters produce the same phoneme, although there are some allophonic variations based on culture. The /s/ phoneme is represented in Spanish with the letters S, Z and C. Spanish has many dialects and there is a chance that your student will label the word with a different vocabulary word that does not contain the targeted phoneme.
