Description: Play instructions: This game will help student recognize common community symbols. There is always one, and only one, matching symbol between any two cards. Deal all of the cards out to each player, leaving one card face up in the middle of the table. Players will race to find a symbol on the center card that matches one of the symbols on the top of their personal deck. To play a card, say the matching symbol and place your card at the top of the center pile. The first person to use all of their cards wins. The game can be played with 2-8 players, but I recommend smaller groups of 2-3 players, with Aids. Community Signs included: Stop sign, Railroad Crossing, Hospital, Caution sign, Closed sign, Open sign, Do Not Enter, Handicap Accessibly, Do Not Walk/Cross, First Aid, Exit, Poison, and Elevator. Print instructions: This should be printed on regular 8.5 x 11in paper. I recommend printing it, cutting it out, and them laminating the cards. When cutting the laminated cards, I recommend leaving a slight “border” of the lamination paper. Copyright information: Symbols purchased from flaticon.com. Dobble (UK) and Spot it!
