Description: This seek and find game can be used with speech and language students to work on spring vocabulary, listening, and descriptive language skills. With this activity, students will practice speech and language skills as they listen to the clues, solve the riddles, find the pictures in the I Spy scene. This activity works well for mixed groups because articulation students could work on carryover skills. Social skills groups can practice taking turns asking and answering questions. Language students can practice vocabulary, listening to clues and making inferences. They can also practice coming up with their own clues by describing the items themselves! I would recommend laminating it or using a plastic sleeve. Print the cards and cut them apart. Have one person be the reader who reads the clues to the group. Group members try to guess the spring item being described. Make sure to hide the picture on the card! Use a magnifying glass for extra fun!
