Description: Who doesn't love a good, old-fashioned brownie? I love baking for/with my students, and this is my most popular recipe by far! Attention! There are two versions in this PDF, one short, then one long, so just print the pages you need. If you use American measurements, please see the other files here in the store. I'm also creating a step-by-step video. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, you can find a deck that complements this recipe in the store. I've made it for my ESL students. There are 16 cards and one card with a video that shows each of the ingredients correctly pronounced 3x in a standard American accent. (I was a TV reporter in another life before teaching.) While Covid-19 may not be the best time for cooking, some of you may be home schoolers, and others may want to demonstrate making the recipe or simply send it along to your students for fun, so I chose not to delay my posting plans... Enjoy! This makes about 40 brownies. You can make them gluten-free simply by substituting the flour for corn flour (Maizena in France.) It works very well, but be sure to sift correctly. I've had gluten-intolerant students, so it's been well taste-tested! Thanks for visiting my store!
