Description: This product includes a variety of CVC activities- read and match, cut and paste and word sort - ideal for back-to-school revision or for use in phonics lessons. The science of reading worksheets ask students to identify the CVC picture on each clipboard, decode and sort the letters that spell the word, and then write the CVC word in the space provided. The cut-and-paste activities encourage students to read the CVC word on each bus, then find, cut out, and glue the matching picture beneath the school bus. Lastly, for fun and for early finishers, there are some word searches for each of the short vowels. Students identify the CVC picture on each notebook and then find the word which appears four times in each of the word searches. They should write out the word in space provided.
