Description: This product is used to increase receptive and expressive language by learning and practicing negation. By age 5, children should be able to understand and use ‘no’ and ‘not’. Negation is an important part of language acquisition. Without it, a child will not be able to understand and use the many functions of language such as refusing, explaining, following directions. A child needs to learn that negation reverses the meaning of the sentence. This packet allows for practice of this concept.
