Description: Would you like an interesting and engaging activity that will let students to show their understanding of how they can prevent fires during Fire Prevention Week or National Safety Month that will also provide you with a banner or bulletin board display for you classroom or hallway? If so, this banner/bulletin board is a great way to do that. There are 28 different pennants for students to complete. Each piece has a different picture that relates to fire safety. Students are required to write a way to prevent a fire that relates to the picture, color the picture, and cut it out for display. Assign the pennants to students or let them choose which one(s) they would like to complete. Use the finished banner as a display in your class or hallway or to create a bulletin board. It's a great activity to get students thinking about specific things they can do to help minimize the chances of a fire in their homes and what actions they can take to protect themselves if they are ever caught in a home fire.
