Description: Your child’s understanding, answering and asking of questions starts at an early age. WHO questions are one of the last questions to develop and start to emerge just prior to the commencement of school. Your child will start to understand questions before they start to ask and answer them. Questions are an important function of language and without questions your child will find communicating with you or their peers difficult. • WHO questions are people questions. A large vocabulary is required when answering WHO questions. This vocabulary is occupation names. It is common for children to start answering these questions with simple terms such as the man and as their vocabulary grows they will become more specific and accurate with their answers.
