This visual will help kids follow sequential steps to use when other kids annoy them. The concept involves the acronym "WISMAAG" W=Why: Ask yourself, "why are they doing this?" Great for practicing and understanding intent I=Ignore: Ignore as best you can! S= Strategy: Take a break, use headphones to block out the sound, take deep breaths M=Move: Move your body away from the person A=Ask Nicely: "Can you please stop __________" A=Ask Firmly: In a firm tone say, "Seriously stop _________" G: Go get help: Ask a teacher, parent, or adult for help.
