Description: Have your students practice 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication with this fun set of Christmas themed Four in a row math games that are played like Connect Four. The aim of this game is build fluency in multiplying double digit numbers. It particularly suits students in the 4th and 5th Grade. Students work in pairs and take turns trying to answer one of the 2 x 2 multiplication questions on the board. If they answer it correctly they can cover with a counter or use pencils or dot and dab markers to color the equation. Play continues back and forth this way until someone makes a line of 4 correct equations. Answer sheets are included for students to record their answers and each game comes with an answer key.
