Description: This activity is designed to be a quick “print and go” activity for all of your articulation groups! There are so many ways to use these speech monsters! Students can cover them with Googly Eyes, Fruit Loops, dot markers (bingo daubers), magnetic chips, play dough, pom poms, or even mini erasers as they practice their speech words. You could even make a fun monster themed bulletin board with the finished monsters in your room! I would recommend printing the monsters on brightly colored colored cardstock paper. You could also use this project digitally by using online coloring tools (e.g., Seesaw) to color eyeballs on the monsters. It is easy to individualize this activity to meet all of your articulation students’ needs. Simply choose the sound that your student needs to practice and have your student practice the words on the page at their current level of practice (word, phrase, or sentence). I have included the following sounds for practice: M, N, P, B, T, D, K, G, F, V, S, Z, SH, CH, J, TH, L & R in all positions (including blends!). Each page has 10 words to practice. I have also included three open-ended monsters at the end so you can write your own words or use as an open-ended reinforcer with language students! Includes 60 black and white printable pages.
