Description: The list is a combination of the Phonics First Structures Red Word list, the Fry's Frequent Word List, and the Dolch Word List. I tried to limit it to words that do not follow common phonics rules. Each word and slide in the Sight Word Spelling Test have corresponding numbers, which makes it easy to hide the cards of words you don't want your students to be tested on. This feature also makes it easy to utilize the research-based intervention of folding-in, where you only have students working on a few new words mixed in with a group of words they have already mastered.
