Description: These are neurodivergent friendly/ neuro diversity cognizant. Many children with adhd, odd, ocd, asd etc can feel triggered by traditional formats of written apologies or often feel "punished," by the current practices in many schools. In working with students and inspired by own inclination towards creativity and the need for variety due to my own neurodivergence, I made these cards to empower students to choose how they would like to communicate their needs to others and choose how they would like to restore balance and return to the learning environment. One does not need to feel remorseful in the traditional sense to resolve a conflict. Conflict resolution is all about communicating what our needs are and striving towards mutual benefit. Every step in the right direction is a success story.
