Description: Homophones homographs (words with Multiple meaning ) are a consistent cause for sentence ambiguity and confusion. Teach multiple meaning words in several ways to ensure comprehension, this in turn, will lessen Ambiguity in sentences and improve Sentence development. This deck addresses homographs in two ways. Identifying homonyms is the first part. Can your student spot them in a sentence? Second, can they tell you the multiple meanings of each word as well as the different meanings for the same sentences? (E.g., “He didn’t want to touch the scales.”) If you would like the 51 card deck that compliments this worksheet search for the deck with the same title or copy and paste this link: https://wow.boomlearning.com/deck/q-H4NXNWk9fkErKuJ8v?ref=tpt
