This set of FALL THEMED STORIES & PASSAGES includes questions to target reading comprehension and making inferences, right in the BOOM CARDS deck! From the menu card, choose one of the 8 fall themed passages or stories. Each one is 3-5 short paragraphs (a single card), so you're easily able to finish one reading and question set in a session. Then use another passage or story for a new fall theme in the next session! The reading passages and stories each relate to a FALL THEME such as apples, pumpkins, bats, and fire prevention. Since fall holidays are not used, you'll be able to use this resource across your elementary caseload. Choose from two levels of questions for each passage: MULTIPLE CHOICE questions (which include PICTURES) support students with basic comprehension questions about what's explicitly stated in the text OPEN-ENDED questions (fill-in-the-blank) target reading comprehension and making text inferences.
