This sound discrimination activity lets students practice hearing, isolating, and recognizing the R-controlled vowel pairs of AR and OR. This set focuses on medial sounds. Each card shows a picture of an object with either AR or OR in the middle of the word. Students listen to the word spoken aloud and the choose the R-controlled vowel sound they hear. Answers are multiple-choice and self-checking. Students receive immediate feedback. They can listen to the audio as many times as they like before choosing their answer. Includes 24 words - 12 with AR and 12 with OR. Cards are randomized.
