Description: Set of articulation flashcards targeting S Blends in Spanish. Contains 10 words each for SK (SC), SP, ST, plus 5 words for STR for a total of 35 words in all.. Common vocabulary words were selected to increase students' ability to produce the words independently without a model. PLUS-- Sentence strips included on each card to help students advance to using the target words in 2, 3, and 4 word phrases. Symbol supports included to help decrease dependence on verbal models of phrases. (INCLUYE INSTRUCCIONES EN ESPANOL) **Note: Spanish does not contain true "s blends" as the two consonants are not part of the same syllable (eg. the syllables in "escoba" are es-co-ba). The "s" and the 'c' are more properly termed "abutting consonants" as they are two adjacent consonants that belong with different syllables. However, some children with speech impairments do frequently omit one of the sounds in abutting consonant pairs (eg.
