Description
The student reads or listens to the Christmas-themed word and counts the correct number of syllables. Includes audio directions and reading of each word. I did not make the audio play automatically so students could also practice decoding the words. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.2.B Count, pronounce, blend, and segment syllables in spoken words. CCSS RF1.3D Use knowledge that every syllable must have a vowel sound to determine the number of syllables in a printed word.
