Description: This is a 3-in-1 semantic strategy activity. The activity includes 10 category naming cards, 10 listing attributes cards, and 10 word association cards. To navigate the deck select your preferred topic on the home page and utilize the arrows at the bottom of the cards to navigate through them. The last card in each category will have a home icon to bring you back to the selection page. There are pictures provided for the attributes and the word association activities. A description of each is below. Category naming activity (10 cards): the student will have to go through and name 5 items for each category provided. They start of easy and get progressively more difficulty. Examples of categories include: animals, colors, things that are cold, holidays, etc. Listing attributes (10 cards): For this activity there will be a common item at the top of the card, below that will be 5 boxes that read color, feel, function, category, and location (the initial card of the attribute activity goes over what all of these mean). The student will then have to list the attributes of the item pictured for all 5 categories. Word associations (10 cards): this activity provides a word w/ picture at the top of the card and the student will have to name 1+ word(s) that can be associated with that item. For example "rain"-> umbrella, wet, weather, etc.
