Description

Bring language practice to life with this interactive royal dress-up Boom Cards activity! Students help dress a princess and knight while practicing possessive nouns and pronouns in a fun, engaging way. Each item belongs to either the princess or the knight, and students must use language to describe ownership before revealing the next part of the outfit. Examples students may say: • “The tiara belongs to the princess.” • “The shield is his.” Once the student says the phrase, they click the item to reveal a body part that belongs to the character. When the body part is clicked, the clothing or accessory magically appears on the character! There is no competition or timer, making this activity perfect for therapy sessions focused on communication and language development. Students gradually dress the characters while practicing language targets in a natural and motivating way. This activity can be used to practice: • Possessive nouns (princess’s, knight’s) • Possessive pronouns (his, hers) • Subject pronouns (he, she) • Sentence formulation • Vocabulary development • Describing objects and ownership • Expanding utterances • Conversational language practice Deck Includes • Tutorial card • Vocabulary introduction page • Princess dress-up activity • Knight dress-up activity • Mixed practice option • Built-in Visual Supports The scroll cards are color-coded: Pink scrolls support sentences about the princess (she/her).Blue scrolls support sentences about the knight (he/his)
