Description: This is a freebie sample. The full activity is in my boom store. This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills. This activity contains a variety of object functions and visual sentence strips. Students are able to go "apple picking" by following 1-step directions with colored apples. After, the student picks the apple, they able to answer the WH questions (e.g. what do you do with a __?) and label the correct object function. Students are given visual sentence strips such as "I __a book." This activity includes the following object functions: - Read - Write - Sleep - Eat - Drink - Cut - Dry - Sit - Unlock - Color - Drive - Wear - Ride - Clean - Toothbrush - Wash Hands The following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: -Expanding Utterances - Object Functions - WH Questions - Describing (e.g. Colors, Attributes/Adjectives, Categories, Function). - Following 1-step directions with qualitative concepts
