Description: The SLP (or teacher!) is hungry! Can't you hear her stomach grumbling? Players each choose a mover (either a delicious gummy bear or something disgusting like the pile of dirt) and then race up the ladder, across, the table, and onto the plate! Watch out, SLP/teacher-- whatever food makes it to the plate first will go into your mouth! *Note, on TpT there will be a PowerPoint version that allows the teacher to import their OWN PHOTO (mouth open wide = even better!) During test-runs, this has worked best when students control something disgusting and the SLP controls a gummy bear-- it's a riot when the SLP screams as the disgusting "food" inches its way closer and closer, leaving the yummy gummy bear in the dust. Great for working on concepts like opposites, locations/positions (receptive and expressive), and sequencing steps to play the game. Also great for social skills groups as it requires basic turn-taking. Use any digital spinner online such as the one on www.toytheater.com (select the yellow spinner and change the number option to 3 or 4!)
