Description: These are included in a money saving Bundle under the "Bundles" tab in my store. These 18 task cards are structured to teach students to identify the lowercase letters: D, C, I. The cards use a field of 3 to guide students into identifying each letter from two distracter letters. This concept is based on the Discrete Trial Teaching format (although not technically DTT). These cards are great for students who need foundational skills and thrive on direct instruction (which is why only 3 letters are taught at a time. My suggestion is once students master this set, then present the next set of letters). *Letter grouping is based on most commonly used letters versus alphabetical order. The cards begin with 1 card that shows an example of what "d" looks like. The next 5 cards present three letters and students have to identify "d". The next card shows an example of what "c" looks like. The next 5 cards present three letters and students have to identify "c". The next card shows an example of what "i" looks like. The next 5 cards present three letters and students have to identify "i". There are a total of 18 cards (3 teaching cards and then 15 "work" cards). *CARDS ARE AUTOMATICALLY READ ALOUD
