Description
Students are presented with animated everyday verb images (GIFS) in different locations. Students are asked "where" questions and given 2 visual choices of places (bedroom or bathroom). After, students are asked to form the sentence. Students are presented with sentence starters such as "she is eating in the ____." Students are presented with 2 choices for the "where" question. Students are asked to drag and drop the answer to the WH questions into the colored boxes in the sentence starter. The following Everyday Verbs (GIFS) are included in this activity: - Eating - Drinking - Cooking - Brushing Teeth - Brushing Hair - Reading - Waking up - Sleeping - Washing Face - Getting Dressed - Showering - Waiting at the bus stop - Working Some IEP goals that can be targeted during this activity: - Identifying and Labeling Verbs - Identifying Pronouns - Wh Questions (who, what, where) - Vocabulary (e.g. places, items in each room or place, etc.) - Object Function (pointing to items in the different locations and asking what do you do with it. For example, what do you do in a bed). - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU
