Description: This engaging 3D shape sort is a fun way for your students to practice recognizing three-dimensional shapes in the environment and for you to easily assess their shape recognition mastery. Each card has 6 real-world shape picture cards that students sort by dragging and dropping them to the correct column on the clipboard. The first 7 cards require students to sort the picture cards by shape or not the shape (sphere, not a sphere). The last 8 cards require students to sort the real-world picture cards between two shapes (for example, cylinder in one column and rectangular prism in the other column). This sorting activity gives students practice with visual discrimination and shape recognition.
