Description: In this activity, students will make plural by adding the suffixes -s or -es to each base word noun in Spanish. They will count how many of each to complete the sentence with the number and by adding either suffix -s or suffix -es, with the understanding that in Spanish you add suffix -s to form the plural for base words that end in a vowel, and suffix -es to form the plural for base words that end in a consonant, and vowels with tilde (acentos). This version of the activity provides audio for all directions, sentences and suffixes as an extra scaffold for your students who need the extra support. This is a great activity for students learning grammar rules in Spanish in a Dual Language setting, or beginner Spanish learners. Grades 1-2.
