Description: Do your students struggle to identify the volume of an irregularly shaped object through the method of water displacement? (Thank you Archimedes!!). This deck gives students dozens of opportunities to practice AND the skill by providing them cards with TWO graduated cylinders (one with an item and one without). They then determine the DIFFERENCE in the volume of the water in the cylinder to determine the volume of the irregularly shaped item. The skill is scaffolded and reinforced throughout the deck.
