Description: This engaging letter sound sort is a fun way for your students to practice letter sounds (beginning sounds) and for you to easily assess their letter and phonics mastery. Each card has 6 picture cards that students sort by dragging and dropping them to the correct column on the clipboard (Begins with the letter, Does NOT begin with the letter). This sorting activity gives students practice in visual discrimination, phonemic awareness, and phonics. There is a card for each letter of the alphabet. The cards play in random order making play different each time. Students receive immediate feedback which is a great motivator! Please note: The letter X card has both beginning and ending sound pictures (x-ray, box, ax) and says "Starts or ends with Xx" and "Does NOT start or end with Xx".
