Description

A fun spring or Easter "I spy" game of identifying feelings emotions for preschool through early elementary. Two slides introduce 13 emotions. There are three tiers to this deck: 1. Identify one feeling from six bunnies on a white background. Students receive immediate response feedback. There are always 2 correct answers. 2. Identify one feeling on six bunnies on a complicated background (pond, meadow, city, pet store, desert, house, burrows, etc) students receive immediate response feedback. There are 2 correct answers. 3. Students use draw tool to draw each feeling on an outline of bunny's head. Multiple colors can be used. Teacher provides response feedback. An image of the emotion is on each slide with a sliding cover for a model. Students then draw a picture of how they feel & type a feeling word. Learner Supports: Home page, back and forth arrows, tiered intervention, audio directions, model with a sliding cover . Feelings included: sad, mad, happy, surprised, excited, sleepy, frustrated, confused, embarrassed, loving, silly, shocked, scared. Easy to extend into multiple lessons by using these probes: "When have you felt ___________," and "why would bunny feel ___________?" For the drawing activity, have students describe what they are drawing. For example, "wide-open eyes" for surprised. Could be extended for use on vocabulary and action words. While not easter-themed, some slides contain easter eggs and one slide has an easter egg hunt scene.
