Description: Many people helped to shape the United States. This resource focuses on seven influential people who helped to write the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and to lead the nation as its first presidents. The 7 Founding Fathers included are Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. The first eight cards are learning cards. Students will learn several facts about each founding father. The remaining 14 cards contain questions (two for each person).
