This is great if you are reviewing right triangle trigonometry at the start of your Trigonometry Unit. Prior to completing this Boom Card deck, students should know: - How to write a trigonometric ratio for a right triangle - How to use trigonometric ratios to solve right triangles - How to rationalize the denominator Card Design: Most of the decks I create incorporate different activities to keep students engaged, and this deck is no different. Card tasks are outlined below: • Cards 1 – 5 require the student to type the requested trigonometric ratio for the given triangle (fill-in-the-blank) • Cards 6 – 15 require the student to solve the right triangle for the requested missing angle or side, given at least 2 knowns – example: given the length of a side and an angle measure, find the length of an unknown side (drag-and-drop) • Card 16 requires the student to solve the given triangle for all missing information, given the length of a side and an angle measure (drag-and-drop)
