Description: Inevitably, life will present us with some not-so-fun situations. These situations can lead to difficult thoughts and feelings, such as frustration, sadness, anger, etc. In a perfect world, we would be able to change these situations, but unfortunately, not everything is within our control. The good news is there are things we can influence, we just need to know what is within our control! The following deck teaches what we can and can't control in unfavourable situations. Deck includes 5 multiple choice questions, as well as a fill-in-the-blank self-reflection question at the end to apply to the lesson to the learner. By the end of the lesson, the learner should understand that... (a) We can only control ourselves, we can not control others (b) What we can control may not "fix" a situation, but it can help influence it
