Description

STEP 2 of Ear Training Step by Step, after Step 1 (Higher or Lower?). Also in 2 bundles. A self-checking ear training game for Grades 3-5. Learners hear two notes and decide how the tune moved: Repeat (the same note), Step (the very next note) or Skip (hop over one note). 29 cards, 20 scored. HOW IT WORKS - 3 learn cards: the three moves, the staff, up or down. - Round 1: repeat or step? Round 2: step or skip? - Round 3: all three, now with half steps (E-F, B-C) and small skips. - Round 4: step or skip, up or down? The hardest round. - After each round, a reveal card shows the pairs on the treble staff. - Play both notes, or one at a time. SELF-CHECKING, WITH HELP WHEN STUCK - Boom scores every question; wrong answers show at once for a retry. - Two tap-to-show hints per question: a nudge, then the method. - All notes are equally loud and equally long, from the C major scale. ACCURACY Every answer in this resource is checked by our own verification software and by AI test solves: separate AI sessions solve it from the cards and sounds alone, without the answer key. It has not been tested with a class. We work hard to be accurate, but no process is perfect. If you spot an error, please tell us through the store's feedback. HOW IT WAS MADE Text written with AI assistance and fact-checked. All images and music notation are drawn in code; no AI image generators were used. All sounds are made in code. No AI voice. Needs sound. Plays in a browser; needs internet.
