Description: Are you students working with the silent e in making words with the long vowel sound? This fun deck of cards will give your kindergarten or first grade students plenty of practice working with CVC and CVCE words! All cards include audio for the directions, pictures, and sentence fill-ins. The first ten cards show a picture and students have to look carefully to determine if the word is spelled as a CVC word or a CVCE word (watch out for the sneaky E!). The next ten cards have students reading a sentence and dragging the correct word to the sentence to complete it. The sentences have a audio so students can hear it before they try to find the missing word. The last ten cards have a picture and students will sound out the sounds of the word and spell it. Again, audio is included to help your students identify what picture is shown. All cards have audio for the activity directions and the picture.
