Description: This fun and brightly colored deck is a great practice for beginners on partitioning shapes and recognizing if parts are equal or unequal. Includes 29 equal or unequal 2D shapes. Teacher Tip: I teach my students to think this way: My friend and I are sharing parts of something. We think of equal parts as a "happy heart". If my friend partitions something equally with me, it makes my heart happy. If my friend partitions something unequally with me in "breaks my heart". We look at the shape and decide, "Would this make my heart happy?"
