Description: A Valentine’s Day themed speech therapy game designed to target articulation while having lots of fun in a video game style! All the valentines have been lost and shuffled under the chocolate. Students will eat all the candy in the box and make sure to mail the correct valentines. Card 1 gives instructions, and card 2 is a menu. The menu links to separate boards of the chocolate shuffle game, each one featuring a unique box of chocolates. The chocolates can be dragged away to the mouth and eaten; a chomping sound effect will play if the mouth is clicked. Underneath some of the chocolates are valentine’s envelopes with an articulation word on them. Each board asks the student to look for a specific position of the target sound, which is great for addressing phonological awareness skills. Each of the 20 target prompt pages has an array of 10 words for a total of 200 words with the target sound in a variety of positions including initial, medial, final, and blend. The visual supports include emojis, illustrations, and real photos. The game is Valentine’s themed, but this deck can be played at any time. Multiple completely unique game boards and completely shuffled and randomized items make this deck have tons of replay value and fun all year round.
